In looking at several couch's, after the fact, this one has the deepest I could find ( I did not look at all of them). It's not something I looked at, but who buys couch's that often? As for the measurement they show, , exactly where is that measurement from and to. Couch's have a slight bow in the back, the seat edge frequently has a seam...is it to the seam, or the edge of the cushion that sticks out a little further.....who knows. Sorry...the point is that it is does show a measurement that is an inch or two bigger than others...something I paid no attention to. Again, if you are taller it might be perfect...if you are shorter (5'8) like me, it's a little....off....too long/deep. I have never had a couch with such deep cushion...I can say if I saw it at RC Willey or something and sat in it, I would have kept looking.

Actually ordered these a month ago, was able to get the price adjustment for the extra $200 off. So far its super comfortable and we love them!
