Certain CB site is offering 10% CB in Lenovo which is equal to $123, bringing the price to almost same. Perks at Work doesn't work with CB sites.

No USB4 is a valid concern but the question is how many 4K displays you have seen in 14" or 13" form factor with more than 60Hz refresh rate? Understand what is available in the market before complaining.

This is pretty good if you want a 2160p screen. I'd personally go for the 1440p screen that's posted right before this. 1440p is more than enough for a 14" screen and isn't as much of a battery hog.

Notebookcheck review: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Len...465.0.html

Not only is all the RAM soldered (a first for a non-s model in the T series), the wifi is also soldered, which is a real problem because Qualcomm wifi can be flaky - I only trust Intel for laptop wifi/BT. (And yes, Lenovo used to put Intel wifi/BT in their Ryzen laptops.)

Also, listing the weight as 2.65 lbs is highly misleading. That's the "starting" weight, with the puny 39 Whr battery and probably the lowest-end config of everything. Notebookcheck's configuration was 3.2 lbs, I'm guessing the 4K display may increase that a tick.

IMHO the HP EliteBook is a much better buy, with vastly better expandability, and no penalty in weight or thinness.

But the 4K display on 14" notebooks is overkill and not practical, only consuming more battery power. I would like the 2.2K option better but it's only 300 nits, unfortunately.

Which 1440p deal are you talking about?

I bought Gen 2 AMD during last thanks giving with 4k screen and 3 yr at home warranty for 1176 including tax.
Got shipped after 3 months. It is not easy to remove the underplate to replace SSD or Ram. The documentation is very poor and nnot very helpful. I must have done somethingn and the chassis now creaks when I hold.

I bought Thinkpad because Dell Latitude with 4k was very expensive. Returning with Lenovo is still painful. I am going to make a complaint with NJ Consumer affairs against Lenovo. Upon further research ASUS laptops are excellent make not sure about performance etc. Just make sure to buy one with MIL rating so that the outer shell may not be cheap.

P.S. T16 might a sweeter form factor many. They introduced along with gen 3 T14.

Are you referring to a specific elitebook deal? If not, which model would you recommend? Thanks
