This model has an ips panel so the colors will be more accurate and the viewing angles are wider. The Costco model has a VA panel. I have a similar LG panel as the Costco panel and its fine if it is positioned right in front of you. However, the shift in colors is noticeable with even the slightest off viewing angle.
