Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
It hasn't been for this price much, as per my knowledge.
Yes, it was $129 a few months ago but then it jumped back to $189-199 and it was still FP even at that price. It remained at that price for some time.
It dropped only once to $169 a few weeks ago but the deal got expired. This is the second time it's available for $169. The lowest after $129 of course.

Haha. Maybe I made a mistake here, or simply ignoring it as long as it's over $129 LOL

Looking to get a chromebook for school... think Amazon Prime will bring better deals this week?
This Acer is a perfectly serviceable x86 chromebook (and with a 1080p screen!). However, if you can hold out, definitely consider touchscreen a priority feature (as it really makes android app support work). There have been recent Amazon chromeboook deals in the $225 to $288 range that check almost every box needed for those looking to make a long-term investment in a chromebook (but also not interested in spending more for a premium chromebook). One of the other features noteworthy for the two models I linked is 8GB RAM, which is far from a required item for most chromebook users but can be a nice to have if you ever get around to running Linux (and is expected to be a requirement for running Steam on ChromeOS[chromeunboxed.com] even as CPU requirements are lowered).
For today, this solid-x86 chromebook is more than most need for school-support. However, as a personal investment the $200-range has gotten quite exciting as of late and could justify a little more shopping around.
