The Roku has a pretty straightforward menu that can be less confusing and easier to navigate. If you have an iphone, Roku supports airplay. I like the simplicity of Roku.

The Fire Stick is a little more complicated to navigate with a busier home screen with suggested content. If you like browsing through content, the fire stick home screen is full of suggestions. You can side load apps with the fire stick, and integrates/can control alexa home and entertainment devices.

Target has it for 29.99 as well plus 10% off with the target circle electronics offer and the red card 5% off as well. For me after taxes ended up being a couple dollars cheaper. Just throwing it out there.

It all comes down to if you prefer AndroidOS or RokuOS. Anyone who tells you one is better than the other is simply trying to push their bias onto you.

I recommend you try both and return the device you like less. Most of these retailers have generous return policies.

No, it doesn't have a USB-C port. It has a micro USB port which doesn't support an Ethernet adapter. So it's Wi-Fi only.

I've read that running out of storage may cause issues with the Roku Express. You can either delete apps or Factory reset to see if it fixes your issues. The Roku in this post does have more storage and better Wi-Fi.



It's mostly better than the Roku Ultra 2017 but lacks the USB port, SD Memory Slot, and Ethernet Port.
I tried deleting apps, factory reset and nothing. It LAGS a lot if Im lucky otherwise became unresponsive.

The Roku player I have is from 2016. Roku Express I believe. Idk but definitely not worth trying to get it fixed anymore.

Wow. the reviews on Roku for this stick are abysmal. Rethinking. Not sure it's going to be any better than my garbage Express.
