I had $15 off of 50 for home in my Target Circle offers.
I didn't have any, but I added it to my cart hoping it would prompt in.

Thanks for the heads up!

…for syrup, the cheapest and very tasty way , is to use kool-aid packs and sugar to make a concentrated syrup. It will cost you ~$0.50 to make a syrup. Chill in fridge before using so you don't melt your shaved ice when pouring. …. Should cost you around 1/2 a buck to make around 30-50 snow cones this way!

It's like most of these KitchenAid attachments end up being more expensive than just buying a dedicated machine that will do a better job...

You think this thing magically doesn't take up space? It's really not much smaller than something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Hawaiian-S...004UBMRKG/

And while it attaches to a mixer, that doesn't make the attachment itself any less of a uni-tasker.

Some people take Alton's advice WAY too literally...

For the syrup I buy flavor concentrates on ebay which are added to homemade simple syrup, so that's a good way to save money over buying ready made syrup.

Its a small attachment lil guy compared to a whole new piece of small appliance. Someone whos buying an attachment already has a kitchenaid. They dont need to buy another plug in appliance to take up more counter space. Are you that dense? I also doubt that trash product you linked does better than the power a kitchenaid has as well.

Snoopy snow cone machine is top of the line
Haven't thought about this thing in decades. I think mom used to mix kool-aid to put in the little bottles for squeezing onto the ice. The hand crank really gave you a good workout.

Let's see... one is a thing whose sole purpose is to shave ice. And the other is... a thing whose sole purpose is to shave ice.

One is a roughly cylindrical object that sits on your self and takes up about a 6 x 7" footprint. The other is a roughly cylindrical object that sits on your shelf and takes up about a 5 x 6" footprint.

If you want to convince yourself that one is a space-wasting uni-tasker and the other is not, hey, you do you bud! hug

Is there a big difference between a blender crushed ice vs a device to shave ice? I don't see myself using it more than a few times a year
