I have used Apple Watch since the first model and till this day I have never feel the need of the cellular model. If you use it, fine but being pragmatic, you don't really need it.

So I have to disagree with this comment.

Not gonna be much demand for the Series 8. The SE or the Series 7 are the value pick. The premium pick is the Ultra. Who's gonna buy the Series 8 unless it's priced close to the Series 7.

Went from the Series 7 to the Ultra, it was worth it just to get something that looks different. I would never have gone from the 7 to an 8, no idea why anyone would.

I guess the only reason I'd get the s8 is for the improved materials (stainless steel & sapphire glass); curious to see how the s7 stands up to wear and tear

I have a "base model" s6 still and it looks fine. I use it for everything and banged it a 1000 times on metal, concrete, you name it. A few minor scratches to glass but can't even notice unless you're really examining it.
