I've had this model about 5 years, no smell. I use Cascade and don't do anything special to clean it.

The diverter valve seal wore out and water dripped one the floor after 3 years. The replacement dripped after a year. Third seal is still holding. I have a pan and leak sensor under it and recommend anyone buying a Whirlpool dishwasher do the same. Yes, KitchenAid, Maytag and several others are all Whirlpool and share common parts. Google Whirlpool or KitchenAid diverter valve for more info and class action lawsuit.

Other than the leaks, the machine cleans well and is very quiet. If and when it dies, my only upgrade would be to get vented fan drying.

Bosch and KitchenAid are the top two brands in dishwashers.

Its literally the first product after you click the link.
That's weird. No kitchenaid appliances show up when I click the link. Also I can't find the dishwasher when I search the website for it. I can only find it when I click the OP link.

I was able to order this morning. 799+tax and includes installation, haul away (Virginia). Waiting for the Gift card. Meanwhile, this model seems to have gone out of stock in the costco website. My delivery date is Nov 22nd. I am not in any hurry. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for posting the deal. Tbh insane deal if the $200 shop card is also given on top of instant $200 off. I think instant $200 might be a glitch as the site says $300 off $1299. Either way the order went through for $799.99. Also item page says delivery, installation and haul away included but my order clearly says no installation. Fyi
Not a glitch, I received an email from Costco. They are running a promotion for $200 off in cart on selected items

Can still add it. The date for my zip code went from Nov 5th to 29th. That's the only difference.

Does your order show installation included? Mine specifically says installation not included.

I pulled the trigger. Came out to $853 with tax. Let's hope everything works out with the gift card. Although on the order confirmation it says nothing about the giftcard

Description says $300 savings, but in cart only $200 discounted. Am I missing something?

Reviews just on costco for this product seem to have so many issues?
I've had this dishwasher since June 2020 & it's been great! I've had zero issues with it. It cleans really well, just make sure to clean the filter now and then. This is an amazing deal!

Maytag also has $150 gift card, come around $570 after tax. Any suggestions on how good maytag is?
Kitchen aid worth that extra $150?!

How is the quality compared to LG/samsung?
Don't get LG or Samsung if you want reliable dishwasher. LG is great for top load washer and dryer. Samsung looks good, and that's it.

I think this is really $1299 retail. So the $300 off is already shown at the $999 price. When you add to cart an additional $200 comes off, plus you should get the $200 gift card.

The warranty seems to be only 2 years provided by Costco which is one year manufacture warranty and one year costco extened warranty. Nothing mentions about the citi costco card's extended warranty. Is it still there but Costco just does not say it anymore?

I ordered one. Literally told my wife we need a new dishwasher last night and was about to order a Bosch 800 series. Hoping this kitchen aid is just as good. It's replacing a basic Kenmore plastic tub dishwasher, so either way it should be a nice upgrade.
