This is such a great deal I wish I can buy and keep it for spare.
A spare dishwasher...lol. I do this with shoes that I like but never thought of having a spare dishwasher just in case.

My Bosch dishwasher literally stinks! Many owners complain about the smell. I am tempted to buy this deal if I knew for sure it would also not stink.
I've had this model about 5 years, no smell. I use Cascade and don't do anything special to clean it.

The diverter valve seal wore out and water dripped one the floor after 3 years. The replacement dripped after a year. Third seal is still holding. I have a pan and leak sensor under it and recommend anyone buying a Whirlpool dishwasher do the same. Yes, KitchenAid, Maytag and several others are all Whirlpool and share common parts. Google Whirlpool or KitchenAid diverter valve for more info and class action lawsuit.

Other than the leaks, the machine cleans well and is very quiet. If and when it dies, my only upgrade would be to get vented fan drying.

Fantastic deal, thanks OP. Just yesterday was pricing out repair parts or replacement for our older Kitchenaid which is finally on the fritz.

Have had Bosch, Samsung and Kitchenaid in the past and the Kitchenaid was by far my favorite. Missed the third rack that was on our Bosch but problem solved with this newer model.

Works out to $568 with an Exec membership and the Costco Visa, including extra warranty, haul away and installation. Vs $350-600 in parts. No brainer.

It's the first item that shows up on that link. I would contact their customer service if you don't see it.

We have been in a dilemma to get this or the vented fan one, but we decided to go with this as the vented fan breaks at times and it is expensive to repair the fan. Please let me know if you hear otherwise. :-)

In for one with 11/29 delivery. I got a couple of screen captures of the $200 CASH card that is supposed to be emailed 2 weeks after delivery...I hope it is sent!

I assume Costco delivery/installation includes a new hookup kit? Does anyone know what parts are included with this kit?

Costco's installation is having issues depending on area. They denied my installation but if you call customer service, they will allow you to contract on your own and credit you up to $215 for installation.

Just an FYI based on my experience.

Maytag also has $150 gift card, come around $570 after tax. Any suggestions on how good maytag is?
Kitchen aid worth that extra $150?!
Maytag has a hard food disposer, while KitchenAid doesn't. Maytag will work better if you are not in the habit of scraping off larger food waste when loading the dishwasher. KitchenAid has a larger 3rd rack holding 6 cups + 6 glasses+ silverware while Maytag's holds 6 cups + bowls + silverware. We went with the Maytag entirely because cleaning a filter periodically is not something we wanted to get into. A limitation currently is that Maytag's quietest model is 44db, while KitchenAid has one that is as quiet as 39db.

We've had our kitchenaid for 2-3 years, runs great and no problems at all except we once had to pull it out and look underneath for stuff that apparently clogged it up & prevented starting, runs great ever since….

Anyone have any thoughts on the depth? This is 26.75 inches and the counter I'm looking at is a little over 24". Does the measurement for depth include the handle?
