Paid a crazy price for one of these months ago, great card no complaints. Crushes 1440 high refresh rate games. I highly suggest undervolting, my card has been pretty good hitting the same frames and using 50-70 watts less power!
Why are we not at 500 for these by now? They are taking advantage of the consumer once again to line their pockets.
I truly hope Intel Arc platform kills Nvidia and Amd,s numbers. They truly deserve the slap !
They overpaid during mining so they are passing it along to you. it's also the shipping price. I got the 6900xt for 570 2 weeks back from newegg xfx. I agree with others this is a 500 purchase. your looking at 2 weeks away for new ones, and they'll be maybe 700 and far better. Your not getting enough discount in my opinion, and besides there is plenty of stock no rush now unless you see a special deal. W/ the coupon this was just ok, but now for sure no.
Intel Arc should drag the $350 and below market even cheaper but it will have a tough hill to climb above that.
I would have bought an arc myself. it's better than the benchmarks indicate. unfortunately intel doesn't really want to sell it to home builders. they are losing too much money which is why the release is so small. there is no money in it now. they'll use it to bundle with systems and cpus.
it's disappointing because for a lot of us it just isn't worth more than 400 because its so unproven and has issues and we are doing a lot of testing, and intel just has better options. I would have really liked it myself.
what likely t happen is half of them that were sold are likely to be scalped in the coming weeks as collecter's items (and the gpu insanity continues)
I took a gamble on an open box 6900xt variant of this exact card. Hopeful it'll be good to go, it's size could easily be the reason of a return for someone who didn't measure. I got it for $530 and honestly very happy with that price for a 6900xt. So long as it checks out I'll be shipping my 6600xt off, that I paid $100 more for in January…. Thankfully sold my Vega 56 for the same obscene price to get it back then too haha. If I have to return the 6900xt I'll likely just get this in a few weeks, post AMD November 3rd announcements.

the gigabyte one is only 286mm in length, this is 330mm.
300mm happens to be a magical point where a lot of small or medium size case can no longer accommodate with ease.
