I had these for the last 5 months. They're great for lighting a path but I would not recommend this for anything more. It isn't that bright. The battery would last about 5-6 hours after the sun goes down. I imagine this will go down more during the winter
Advertised as 10 lumens per unit. I think a candle is brighter. 🥺
Seems like a waste of money if the battery and the light aren't good that's the whole product

Sounds great for basic guide lights, while maintaining dark skies.

I got these a couple months ago, randomly popped up at my Costco, at this price, great deal for 4 lanterns. They are simply accent lights, i put them on each side of my home on the front facing fence, they are cute, water resistant and perform great. These are not meant to be some kind of spot light, get a flash light if your complaining about that, these are no different then lawn lights.

Sound like those $1/per path light can replace this just fine. They too aren't bright and last about the same.

Which ones? I actually wanted to get something like this not path light on stake and just double sided tape them to my white vinyl fence (both inside and outside) I think they would look amazing, but I don't think they will get that much sun. Any suggestions? These look so much better than those cheap solar lights that have triangle shape that goes on walls. These actually look decent.

I was talking about the path light and I prefer those over these on the wall due to the wall blocking the sun light.

IMO if it going to be mount on a wall, the solar part need to be somewhere else to collect the sun light. The only one I see with the solar panel can be mount elsewhere is the flood light.

Have you thought about the one use to light up the tree? You can put that on the roof somewhere to collect the sun light and have it point to your vinyl fence to light it up at night.

Or use the solar string light. Peace

Some people want the faint subtle ambient lighting.

Good features about this light :
• Glass and Metal construction (some plastic)
• Replaceable rechargeable AA battery.
