Called two of the three Indianapolis stores. Both are $499.99 less the $100 instant off, for a total of $399.99. I'll hold out for a lower price or a better unit. Repped anyway!

Got it 2 days ago for $350. Just ran to the Costco and got the difference refunded. Thank you OP!!

Whoever wants it, 3 receivers available at Fremont Costco (CA) for $250.
Check the price on InstantCart - what does it show after $100 discount?

Yes, it's not the most powerful receiver at 75 watts per channel w/2 channels driven.

However, I have this receiver with a 5.1.2 setup (front left/right, rear left/right, sub, 2 upfiring atmos) and it sounds amazing. My speakers are all Klipsch Reference Premiere which are well known for not needing a ton of power to drive them, but the point is: the knowitalls insisting that you'll never be able to power a full surround system on a receiver like this are just mostly wrong.

If you have power hungry hifi speakers, then yeah, 75wpc is not going to do the trick for a full surround setup. However, anything with 8ohm impedance or better is probably going to sip power from this sort of thing just fine unless you are trying to fill a really big room with sound.

Mine's in a medium sized basement living room, and the system is as loud as I'd like it to be even at 50-60% of max volume.

If you game at all, the 120hz 4k support here is fantastic, and at this price you cannot possibly find something comparable to this unit.

Wow, the instacart trick seems to be working. I've never used instacart through costco before, interested to see how this works out. I'm allegedly scheduled for delivery tonight...

It's 75w per channel!!!! That's too low …. I had this one I had to return it and I got the Sony dh 790 which is 145w per channel. If you have speakers like Klipsch it won't be enough to power them !
despite the coincidental timing, my comment was not a direct response to you -- but it's gonna look that way. Ah well.

I completely (but respectfully, based on my experience) disagree with you here. I'm driving RP-8000fs, RP-600Ms as rears, a 504c as my center, and 2 upfiring atmos speakers with this exact receiver and I love it. Klipsch is well known for NOT needing a lot of power to drive.

I have an xbox, not a PS5, but 120hz works fine. This received was manufactured after the HDMI 2.1 bugs were worked out - so you should be good.

I can't speak to your specific speakers, but from what I've read, anything with 8ohm impedance should be fine. I posted my set of speakers in a comment above, and this thing blasts them plenty loud (7 total speakers) despite being "not very powerful".
