Just to note, Secondipity on its site offers a 90-day warranty, while their eBay store offers a 2-year warranty (part of the eBay Refurbished program). So something to keep in mind since upgrading to a 2-year warranty on Secondipity's site costs $36.

Secondipity's warranty is also ran by CPS while eBay's handled by Allstate.

While the $222 price on the XM5's is lower than listed previously, it also kinda isnt. They were taking offers the last time the deal came up and were accepting <$200 offers.

OP conveniently posted the old old thread with the offers discussion, and not the recent one:
https://slickdeals.net/f/16069441-sony-wh-1000xm5-nc-headphones-open-box-249-99

Plus their site offers 90 day warranties, when their ebay listing is 2 years.

Secondipity ALWAYS has these XM5 posts like every 1-2 weeks (check slickdeals history), so id just recommend waiting, especially with black friday a little more than a month away

Were they taking lower offers on the XM4? I remember seeing some people having $200 offers accepted for the XM5, but didn't see any figures on the XM4.

Wasn't really posted on since most of the deals were on the XM5. Went with the XM4 for better portability. Scanned through the sellers store and currently not taking offers. Might try your luck and wait a bit til it comes back.

Not sure why these have a 90 day warranty on their site, but come with a 2-yr warranty from their eBay store.
