How will they give you the option to port in that case? Would it be easy to just click one button and then all of a sudden your account is locked to the new number, invalidating your chance for the promo? I wouldn't want to execute on this deal if the process is wonky.
That I am not sure of. I believe you can do this in the app but I won't know until the end of the month as my Cricket service ends on the 26th and I'll port a day before.
My promo was buy iPhone SE 2022. Get $200 GC and airpods 3.
The phone did unlock on its own in 60 days. After 3 months I had to do about 6 chat sessions because they kept wanting more screenshots of proof i ported over. And screenshots of my last payment to the old carrier. This was back when they had ok CS wait time. After 6 chats in about 15-20 days, I got my AirPods and $200 Amazon card. Flipped the AirPods for a quick $125.
And then I left because of how annoying CS was and they just announced party pay was going away.

Start by making sure your new phone is connected to WiFi, current on software updates and check your battery is fully charged.
Install the Visible app on your new device, then log in to your account.
Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your Visible service. This will give you a new number, but don't worry, you can transfer in your existing number after activation is complete.
Make sure you don't turn your phone off until the activation is complete!
If you want to bring your current number over, go to your Account page, click on the link to "transfer your existing phone number" and follow the instructions.
