Very nice 42 inches OLED 4K game TV that may fit in bedrooms or study rooms. The $897 after Amazon Prime card 10% refund is great, and hope this refund may extend to other C2 larger screens very soon. I see the 65 inches LG OLED C1 at $1500 now from Best Buy, $1497 from Amazon (normal 5% Prime card refund).. Also, it seems more people want bigger screens in view of recent good deals of 65 inches OLED game TVs from some Costco local stores and other retailers. Sony OLED game 4K TVs (A80K) seem getting more attentions for recent lower prices before this year Black Friday. It seems better prices may be coming soon in the Black Friday deals in less than 2 months, including game consoles that may bundle with a new game or a free controller.

If you login as Amazon Prime member and you have default payment with Amazon Prime card, you should see this 10% refund note below:

How did you get the 10% discount? Amazon Prime Visa card is only 5% cash back.

No it's not. That's the default cashback. Amazon will do sales and whatnot on certain items and give extra cashback.

Will Costco also sell c1 for this price? You think any chance c2 will go on sale for 1.5k too?

This is an amazing deal for the 42". I have one for my gaming monitor and it's incredible. If you're on the fence just pull the trigger. This will be the best price you see for a good while on this.

Sadly, Costco's squaretrade doesn't cover burn in which you will need for sure as a monitor

Best Buy's is actually good. 3rd party wise, the only I know who advertises that they have burn in coverage it is Upsie.

You think so? I was hoping $999 would become the norm. I think there's some panel waste or something, but the 48" was commonly below $1k

The c2 was so tempting with the extra 5% back, but I'm too afraid of burn in I picked up the qn90b for the same price. I want to use it as a monitor and not have to worry about hiding icons or having a black wallpaper.
Burn-in prevention tech has come a long way since the first plasma screens. I have a CX I've been using as a monitor for 5000+ hours with zero sign of burn-in, and these new models have even better prevention. You have to really try hard to get any noticeable burn in

Costco, Best Buy, Amazon, basically every major retailer has this on sale. Go with whoever you prefer but keep in mind the warranty is a nice add on. Costco gives you 30 days price adjustment in case it drops lower, and you get 90 day return window, plus 5 year warranty added at no extra cost but I don't believe it covers burn in. If you have totaltech with best buy that would be my next choice of retailers, you get 24 months of coverage (burn in included) and 60 day return window/price adjustment.

Be careful with buying from places like buydig, bhphoto, read their return policy on tv's it sucks. If you get a panel with a dead pixel, or anything at all it will be a nightmare to exchange. I highly suggest buying it from big retailers. Good luck.
