That acer monitor (I presume you're referring to the KW272 model) serves different populations. If you just want an office/casual secondary monitor, the KW272@75hz is just fine.
This HP X27Q has some top tier specs (165hz, IPS, 1440p,27") that is usually priced around $220-$260 range. Best bang-for-buck if you plan to use this for gaming, or want a high performing 2nd monitor.

How does this compare to that Acer that was posted yesterday?

One of the best replies I've received here. Concise and informative. Thanks!
This is a pretty crazy good deal. I bought my HP24Xih (24" HD model) for around this price 2 years ago Black Friday and it's still doing great. I'd imagine this would be better in every way as long as you like 27"

Intended to purchase two of yesterday's Acer KW272U deal, but accidentally bought three. Now I just bought two of these. Have to return the three Acer's to Wally World
I got this off treasure truck for 180. Its a great monitor. For 160 it is a steal. Multiple tech YouTube channels have given this monitor high marks for its value.
