There's only a handful of manufacturers nowadays that port a sub out. They want to push their junk subs. I guess jbl fits that bill.

I think that's because adding a sub is counterintuitive to a soundbar design and why people choose one.

If you think about it it seems silly to want to add a "quality" sub while using a soundbar for the rest of the sound, especially a "Atmos" one.

Well I run a velodyne sub w the klipsch cinema 700 soundbar currently. The sub is wireless and the setup is clean in both asthetics and sound. It rocks.

Well if you believe you are actually getting "quality" Atmos immersion sound from it that's all that matters.

In reality it's like those soundbar subs when it comes what "Atmos" can actually do.

Sound is subjective so it's a great selling point for soundbars as you just proved.

Nope, not giving JBL any more of my money. I'm 0-2 on their sound bars. Both crapped out within about 8-10 months after purchase. Not refurbished, brand new. NOPE.
