Can confirm these show up as the QC 45 when pairing with the Bose app. Very happy with them so far. WAAAAY more comfortable than my Wyze headphones. Tested them out wearing them for a whole work day and I never got a headache or sore ears like I do with the Wyze's after an hour and a half. Yes, I have a big head.

I have an older pair of Bose QC15 that have issues connecting via audio jack to my USBC phone (I think the adapter isn't the correct one) BUT I also like to use these on planes that still use 3.5mm audio jacks.
Basically looking to upgrade but only to something that will work for both situations. Phone can use BT but plane will only use wire.
However, they are not as solidly built as the Sony XM4 and consistent use will show some degradation
Bose QC 45 sold at Amazon or Best Buy among other sites comes with a hard case.
Bose QC SE is the same headphones as the QC 45 but comes with a soft case and is only sold at Sam's and Costco.
Basically you need to ask yourself is that hard case worth the $30 price difference. To me it wasn't and I also get Costco's hassle free returns.
However, they are not as solidly built as the Sony XM4 and consistent use will show some degradation
