Just a heads up, Apple is supposed to be releasing an updated Apple TV soon. But I don't know what it would offer that this one doesn't. Only thing I've heard is that it's supposed have the iPhone 12's processor and it's supposed to be cheaper than last gen. Doesn't seem likely it will be this much cheaper, though. So this is a good deal IMO.

For me personally the ability to air drop an image or video to the tv from my iPhone is worth its weight in gold. No other smart device has such a feature that's as seamless as it. If you have people over at your place. Or business and need to show something on a large tv, sort of like a slide show but don't want to go through the hastle of connecting an hdmi cable to your laptop. Just for that alone I will use it and nothing more.

And I have Roku where you can do something similar with windows 10 and the connect feature. It's just it's not perfect and it can be tempermental at times.

I guess it depends on what you use it for and how many apps your gonna have downloaded. I only need it for one specific task, wirelessly connect photo or video from iPhone to the tv so I don't need much for that.

Great. So I guess 32 gb for me work as well. I have 32 gb 1080 HD version and never felt the need for extra storage space.

As far as Apple TV is concerned, there's no comparison. Had used Fires Stick, Chromecast, but those are nowhere comparable to Apple TV.

That's second generation. Several years old. The sale today is the 5th generation which is 2021 model. It would be like comparing an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 13. Technically it's a smart phone but one is way more capable than the other.
