In order to qualify for the $10 promotional code, you must (1) be a Prime member (2) not have purchased an Amazon Gift Card in the last 12 months, and (3) purchase at least $50 in Amazon Gift Cards in a single order on Amazon.com beginning 12:00 am (PT) October 11, 2022 and ending 11:59 pm October 12, 2022 (PT) or when supplies have been exhausted, whichever occurs first.

Funny Amazon is restricting this deal so tightly. Trading actual cash for a limited and restricted gift card is really stupid in nearly all cases. Only reason I ever bite is the bonuses.

1) This is promotional credit and not Amazon gift card - I think a lot of people think they are the same which they arent.
2) Promotional credit expires vs Amazon gift card does not.
3) Promotional credit has restrictions on how it can be applied and what it can be applied to. My understanding is that the items have to be sold and shipped by Amazon. The promo credit cannot be applied to every product that we buy. (Please correct me if I am wrong here)
4) I prefer the Amazon gift card deals as there are no restrictions like the promo credits have.
On the bright side, if you have a Discover credit card, you can 5% for all Amazon purchases Oct22 - Dec22. Personally, there will be better deals out there compared to this one!
