Bought one pair two weeks ago; my first pair, really like it. I initially bought a Speed2 and a Triumph19, using the coupon of $20 off for $100+, and decided to exchange the Speed 2 to a 1/2 size up while returning the Triumph19, so ended up paying about $10 less on the pair on top of the discount. In case of someone wanting to use the $20 off coupon, here is my link https://refer.saucony.com/s/shirleyliu2004
Thanks 0P! I have the speed twos and love them and was hoping I could snag a deal on the pro too. I just bought the rides on sale. Looking forward to trying out the pros in combination with the speed.
I have a pair of Endorphin Speed 2 and would have loved to get a pair of Pro 2 but did not see any deal till now (but I have all the shoes I needed in my rotation)
I got the 1080v11 which was on sale last week and I absolutely love the ride. The 1080v11 and Endorphin Speed 2 makes me run faster. I like the 1080v11's ride a bit more when I am not running in anaerobic state. Endorphin Speed 2 is my go-to for speed work, IMO Speed2 is more cushy than 1080v11 but not as stable. The 1080v11 can be used for slower and faster runs, Speed 2 is better for faster run since it is lighter.
Pro 2 is a good race day shoe, there are other good options too. If you are in need of shoes for speed, get Speed2, you will not regret it.

I'm not a runner, mostly casual use. I just want a decent sale on saucony shadow originals. They used to be plentiful and always available. Not sure if saucony is phasing them out or production delays
I use the Endorphin Speed's for tempo and interval days only. Great shoes! Felt stiffer initially than the Endorphin Pro's I use for race days, but the nylon plate on the Speeds eventually softened up a bit while the carbon plate is still stiff as day one. Both have pop, but once broken in the Speeds are more forgiving and the padding around the cuffs and tongue definitely say "speed trainers" than "race shoes".
I do have friends that exclusively use the Endorphin Speeds for every type of run including slow recovery runs. I think it's forgiving enough after the initial break-in period but my personal easy day shoes are Hoka Cliftons.
Really enjoying the speed 2. Bought 2nd pair. Very good for speed and tempo days. On recovery days, makes me run too fast so I shift to a slower shoe like pegasus.

I know this shoe is meant for runners, but I was wondering how they feel for everyday work shoes. I'm on my feet all day so I was looking for something comfortable. Would these fit the bill?

I personally wouldn't recommend any of these. Another poster said the triumph 19 which are much softer. These have an aggressive midsole pattern meant to help runners propel forward after a midfoot strike, if you aren't running in stride I find that these can actually make you feel slower. Which is why most replies don't recommend these for slow long runs. If you had to choose one of the three for walking, grab the shifts

The triumph 19's which are also on sale are much better suited for that. These don't have much heel stability and are specifically for running.
I have both Triumph 19 and Speed 2. Speed 2 is my favorite running shoe. Light, Cushy and actually makes me run faster. It is the best shoe i have tried. Yes, IMHO is better than the Novablast 2 and NB 1080v12 which i tested as well. It's my first plated shoe and I am really enjoying it. Don't even think about buying it if just want to walk.

Be careful with the Endorphin Speed 2... it made me pronate bad. I ended my run early and never touched my pair again because of the pain it caused
Same thing happened to me with the pro 2s. I was told it's a really fast shoe and you need to be maintaining sub 7 minute miles to not have the probation issue. They are supposed to correct these with the next model.

In for another Shift 2. Have one campfire pair! Love that color way! Too bad all the sizes are out. I'm typically a 12, but 12.5 fit okay! Going with 12's for these for slightly snugger fit.
I hadn't ran in about 3-4 weeks and jogged a mile relatively easy. Shift has some stability and as long as you mid or forefoot strike you should be fine.
