You won't get a full day without having to recharge the 4 so stick with the 3. I wish somebody told me before I purchased one but it was my fault. lol

The Watch 3 comes with a 370mAh battery that advertises up to 56 hours of battery life. This model of the Watch 4 Classic comes with a 247mAh battery with an advertised battery life of up to 40 hours. If you are getting 2 1/2 days with the 3, I would suggest sticking with that unless some hardware or software issue makes you think otherwise.

I get like 2 full day of use with always-on on the watch4 . However the price and battery on the watch3 makes it a no brainer. That said, watch4 is a good watch and a good value, and i enjoy wearing it.
