I've never had a samsung card fail on me. In fact, I've never had any brand fail on me except SanDisk, which happened twice. Samsung, PNY and Kingston, not one issue.

Be careful with micro SD cards on Amazon. Amazon stock is intermingled with all the other sellers and there's no guarantee you won't get a counterfeit card. Best to check it as soon as you get it.

I just had a 512GB version of this card fail on my phone. It lasted less than a year. I'm not a heavy phone user. The one I got for my tablet is still going strong.

My phone fails to recognize the card, but my computer can read it. One thing to note is that you can't delete the contents of the card once it fails.

I haven't called about the warranty yet, so I can't speak for how accurate the 10-year claim is.

Samsung has a tool you can download to authenticate your card at the bottom of this page.

I had trouble downloading it because of all the cookies Samsung adds. If you download it in your browser's privacy mode, it should download without issue.

This is a A2 micro SD card for your mobile phone, Nintendo Switch, Tablet, etc.

Read Speed 160MB/s
Write Speed 120MB/S

Performance will vary depending on the device but this is one of the fastest Micro SD cards on the market now. $28 for 256 GB is really cheap, normally it is $33 a day ago.

The 128 GB version is selling for $18 (which is ago a good price, but twice the memory for $10 more is a better deal.)

Did you read the description? It states that this is one of the fastest card and will work fine for a switch. Have had the older Samsung Evo which is slower than this and works fine for a switch.

Yes it's slick. I've been using it on the steam deck for two months now. No issues whatsoever.

I'm looking for the 512 version for windows on the deck. The Samsung Evo select is just too slow, so I put batocera on it, quite fun.

These cards aren't meant for dash cams. There are specific cards meant for a large amount of read/writes. Usually Pro Endurance or High Endurance.
