May want to update title - its $15.26 after 50% off for 40lb bag. $30.76 is the original retail price prior to 50% off.

In my experience, certain foods don't change much, some foods change incredibly. A smoked cornbread with apple comes out incredibly sweet, smoke it with mesquite and you'll think it was cooked on a campfire. Bacon smoked in mesquite can almost be too much and I prefer a more subtle smoke for that.

Good deal for some quality pellets. To each their own, but I haven't found a significant difference in flavor profile from pellets alone. I find the quality of smoker and method of cooking to be more impactful on the taste outcome. Personally I just use whatever is on sale until the bags empty.

Great deal. Costco Kirkland brand is my normal "go to" and theirs is $21. This is quite a bit cheaper!

Exaggerated retail price. You can usually get the 20lbs bags at Tractor Supply and Lowes for $8-12 dollars, depending if they're on sale or not.
