For comparison, a Snickers bar has 20 grams of sugar... but I actually lake the taste of Zone Perfect bars better than a Snickers bar. So, for me, these definitely are not in the category of "health food", but are "junk food with some protein and vitamins". (Which is sadly most "protein bars" that you see sold at the grocery.)

I feel like sugar gets such a bad rap. Coming from someone who eats probably on a weekly average 300-500g of sugar. I'm still alive and kicking. From what I can tell as well, still healthy. The key? You have to MOVE and do that part a lot.
With that said, it's easier to not consume extra calories than it is to expend it. So meanwhile I do think the whole sugar is evil thing is overblown, I don't recommend you going on 500g of sugar weekly if you don't have the means to expend all the calories.
Is sugar really all that bad if I'm burning about 1000+ calories per day anyways doing a mix of lifting and cardio? I don't like the taste of artificial sweeteners
