I'm really torn since the EPP deals on the s95b are great, but they are still first gen televisions. Samsung isn't really known for the long term QC (see unrelated recent YT videos on expanding batteries).

The only thing really first gen about it is the qd-oled screen and it's good enough for Sony to put their name on.

Damn. Wish I could trade my Sony OLED for this one. The Sony has been nothing but a constant headache since day one. Anyone know if this Samsung has forced auto-dimming in game mode? I can't STAND that on the Sony.

You got to turn off TPC and ASBL on the service menu you can do that either on LG or Samsung but no Sony tvs but be aware that by turning off TPC and ASBL will voids your tv warranty

I bought the 65" version in May and the internal power supply stopped on me in August. I've had a lot of back and forth with Samsung just to get an exchange. A local Samsung certified technician came out to diagnose, then had to come back to try and replace the panel (which is fair because mine was also a bit bent), but unfortunately didn't try to replace the power supply. He told me the best option was honestly to get a brand new unit. So in some sense, he was trying to do me a solid.

And...Samsung wouldn't do that for me for some reason. Instead, they forced me to accept a refund due to "lack of inventory". Definitely a lie considering I could have bought even cheaper on EPP ($1400) and picked it up locally the very same day.

And of course, their online and phone support has been pretty incompetent during this whole proceeding. They didn't submit forms on their end causing weeks of delay just to get approval for my refund. I've had to reach out to Samsung too many times just to verify that they were working on my refund—which they wren't.

This is Samsung's first generation OLED TV, and while it's great when it works, I'm glad I will be returning it and will instead be getting a 77" Sony A80J Bravia XR OLED from the deal posted earlier today. Sony's been making higher end OLEDs for a while now, and so I feel more confident they have these issues much more ironed out based on reviews I've seen.

You pretty much have to be a "chosen one" to get these. I gave up trying. Plus, I worry about shorter warranty years and service buying a TV this way if/when needed - compare to like Costco's. Fixing a TV is not economical these days, so I am not looking to buy trouble.

QLed and Oled combined is what this is and both techs have been here for many years/
