Damn. Wish I could trade my Sony OLED for this one. The Sony has been nothing but a constant headache since day one. Anyone know if this Samsung has forced auto-dimming in game mode? I can't STAND that on the Sony.
Oh no, I just ordered a Sony OLED, can you elaborate on your problems

Every time I see these threads for this model lots of people claiming quality issues with it. As good of a deal as they may seem I am not sold on the first year of his model. Even Rtings is recommending the LG over this. Not to mention they need a 75 or 77 offering.

I was having intermittent but very persistent sound sync issues with my PS5 along with pretty bad input lag. Absurd that a Sony TV doesn't work flawlessly out of the box with a Sony console. After a number of factory resets it *seems* to be doing a bit better with the PS5 atm (knock on wood) although it's still not perfect and I'm still experiencing lip sync issues with many movies. It's so distracting I just have to turn them off...I can't watch movies like that. Also after the factory resets I've been unable to reproduce the same picture and sound quality as I had on it originally (which took me MONTHS to achieve) despite painstakingly putting all of the picture and sound settings back to the exact settings as I'd had them on before. The thing is just buggy as hell and honestly I'm hoping it breaks so that I can make a warranty claim and just be done with it. It's been nothing but a headache.

Should have accepted the refund , seems like your post have a lot of personal problems on your behalf. Things lower over time, real issue here is your upset the tv cost less/
Yeah, I'm confused as well on this complaint. I'd gladly take the refund and buy the TV again at the lower price. Or swap to a different brand if they were so dissatisfied with it and the customer care provided by Samsung…Seems like the person is on a tirade and using SD's to have a therapy rant.

You pretty much have to be a "chosen one" to get these. I gave up trying. Plus, I worry about shorter warranty years and service buying a TV this way if/when needed - compare to like Costco's. Fixing a TV is not economical these days, so I am not looking to buy trouble.
Yeah, I'm with you. I have 3 Samsung accounts and neither of them quality for any of the EPP discounts. One of my accounts is attached to the "Government" discount because of my job and when I asked Samsung customer service who I could change it to get the EPP one, they literally just told me to make a new account. It's so frustrating, because I really want the 85" QN90B that's apparently an extra $600-700 off via EPP, which I can't trigger.

Did you try making the new account? I already had a Samsung account but made a new one with my work email and got the discount

Just a heads up for anyone wanting EPP discount access - if you open a Samsung Wallet / SoFi Money account, and access it via the samsung wallet app, there is a banner in-app with a URL that links you to samsung.com with a cookie loaded for EPP discount. You must maintain a minimum balance in SoFi Money to keep the discount (I don't remember what it is, i put $15 in there a year ago and haven't touched it, it's actually $15.08 now with interest)

I might have to try this. I wonder if it will work because my main Samsung account is currently connected to the "Samsung Government Offer Program Store". I can get my other Samsung account to show "Samsung Save At Work Member Store", which I thought was EPP, but I'm not getting any additional discount (even via an incognito tab).

My main Samsung acct. is hooked into .edu discount, but when I use the specific URL from Samsung Wallet, it loads up with the EPP discount, it seems to trigger the discount based on the short lived link which sets a cookie, so I think that should work on your main acct as well.

I am also able to "View this page in Web Browser" in chrome and then open the tab on my desktop, with the EPP discount active, that way I don't have to shop on the phone.

I'm really torn since the EPP deals on the s95b are great, but they are still first gen televisions. Samsung isn't really known for the long term QC (see unrelated recent YT videos on expanding batteries).
I completely agreed. I had purchased the 82" NU8000 TV when it first came out. 18 months later it wouldn't turn on, and no light. I hardly use that TV. I've never had a TV broken down so quickly in 50+ years before. The good news is that it was easily diagnosed, and fixed by me. But it cost me $250 in parts to do it.

I just got this TV and am thinking about adding a warranty with Upsie. Should I sign-up with MSRP of this TV or the price I got it?
