Like the alternate view of Interstellar there is the same alternate view to this movie. Don't read below until after you've watched, it will change the way you view the film.










The movie takes place on the final day and minutes of Cages life, up to the point he has a mental break down in the hotel hallway while on the phone with his agent. As he lays dying on the hallway floor his mind lives out a heros journey which is why the film is bonkers with a perfect family and life ending. Watch it again, you'll see it as a whole new movie.

I actually really like this take, I'll have to watch it again!

I love these .99 rental deals. It motivates me to watch a movie that I may not have made time for otherwise. And this is one I definitely wanted to watch.

Got to see this in the theater when they were giving away free tickets. I wouldn't have disappointed if I had paid. Cage and Pascal were a good on screen pairing. Entertaining movie.

YES! I've been wanting to see this and waiting for a deal. Otherwise I'd have probably rented the disc from redbox.

Great, thanks! I just canceled my Amazon order and rented it on iTunes instead. *due to higher quality, and better interface on my AppleTV device.

Note that the purchase price is down to $8.99 for 4K on iTunes or Amazon, but it is not MoviesAnywhere. Purchasing on iTunes gives you extras like deleted scenes, six featurettes, and a SXSW Film Festival Q&A.
