Best deal for an SSD right now. 850X is even faster than the 850 which is comparable to Samsung 980 Pro and Hynix P41.

price wise not sure, but speed wise yes. Look at the max speed of each.

It's $10 cheaper. https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/758287 but if this is a better piece of equipment, $10 isn't much.

Amazon also has this same deal. Ordered two from Amazon with heatsinks yesterday, but they won't ship until the 20th.

The SN850 was trailing behind the newer SSDs with Micron 176 layer NAND . This updates the NAND to BICS6 to catch up.

The P41, Kingston Fury Renegade and this one are the main contenders now. 980 Pro has fallen behind in raw speed but makes up with MLC durability and consistency. The Kingston and this one are tuned differently for different benchmarks so they trade places. I would buy whichever is cheapest at the time. The numerical differences in numbers between is insignificant in practice.

One thing to avoid for this one is laptops because of its relatively high idle power consumption. Best for PCs and PS5.

The KC3000 at $186 is still the price leader for 2TB at this top tier level without sacrificing much.

This is the 850X, not the 850. 850X is the extension of 850.
