Just to put things in perspective, you can get the same thing from Harbor Freight for $25 MSRP.

yes it does... the one you linked on harbor freight absolutely comes with the 2 piece wall mount poly peg board. just like the one on Amazon.

here's a pic of the one you linked to on HF.... https://www.harborfreight.com/med...151_W4.jpg

it comes with the bins AND the black plastic pegboard behind it.

same as the one on Amazon seen here: https://m.media-amazon.com/images...L1500_.jpg

I bought 1 a few years ago from Harbor Freight and it was around $19.00. I mounted on the back of the plywood board. It is good for miscellaneous stuffs such as screws, bolts, nuts, etc.

Harbor freight has introduced a membership that replaced some of the old coupons. But anyone can buy from them on line or in-store. It's just like many other companies now where you can get a "membership" if you shoo there enough to make it worth it.

That the design is atrocious it is obvious. All parts cheap plastic and all. Looks totally unprofessional. But for home I would admit such an eyesore is acceptable as long as you're not trying to seel the house.
It's just a set of parts bins. Obviously it's cheap. It's for a home work shop setup so by definition it's not for a professional. It hangs on pegboard it's not a permanent part of a home and if selling a house... That's irrelevant. It's $25

What would your superior suggestion be for the price?

I get you're not from the US but. That's an odd take.

How so? English is clearly a secondary language, and yours is much better than my secondary.

Mostly what I can see here is difference in taste. I will admit to that. But from this to somehow suggest that anything that is neither kitschy nor distasteful or strident, must be non-American, now that's a step too far. I also fail to see the relevance. As Romans used to say, De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum, aka taste is subjective. Call me high-brow and leave it at that.

I merely meant that this is a common style here It's kind of a cheap throw away, and if it breaks, not a permanent fixture which most people understand with harbor freight. That's literally their thing.

And as I said do you have a better suggestion/style? It's cheap. It's functional. Workspaces will not be part of any home sale because most people don't want one. That's most people's needs. If you're designing an actual workshop and have the money then there's not going to be much if any harbor freight in there. Most people don't have that kind of space. Or money

Looks so tacky that to these eyes it seems to be the visual equivalent of smelling feces.

Do you have a suggestion for a more aesthetically pleasing yet moderately priced alternative?

Saw it's $18.80 on Amazon today. Held my nose... almost bought it. Vote with your pocket.

I'll take that as a no. Personally, storage bins like this aren't the first place that elegant looks are important to me.

It took me some time to articulate what is wrong with it. I can tell you that I am currently using a tackle box and an assortment of stacking clear bins. Much more pleasing than this. But while we're at it, there is a cheapo storage case I would approve and the price is not bad, you can even buy more than one. https://www.harborfreight.com/col...93928.html
