I owned this laptop for a while. Overall, great performance but the trackpad sucks. Its plastic and doesnt glide well at all. I was considering waxing it or putting a sticker on it before I ended up returning it. And the power button is where the delete key should be which I frequently use, ended up power off my computer a couple of times. It feels a little cheap in some areas but its not a bad laptop if you don't mind the shortcomings

Thanks for the alert. Been following the 2021 and 2022 models for this, and the price is the best yet. It's got a low wattage GTX3050ti, which is enough for triple A games at medium/high settings. And the size/weight is perfectly compact. So it'll replace my iPad for travel/plane and should run my entire Steam library.

The 16GB Ram is soldered into the board and not upgradeable. There is a second empty M.22 NVMe slot for extra storage. So a 2TB stick would max out the machine.

Note that this is the 2021 version. The 2022 model upgrades it a bit with a second USB C port and 2K (2240x1400) resolution. But it also has the same memory/storage limitations. So this older model is still a great deal.

I travel overseas and have been looking for a gaming/movie solution for long flights. I was toying of getting a Steam Deck (it's got similar hosepower), but will do this instead. Larger screen than that, more lightweight (a little more than 3 pounds), more versatile, thinner, but can still fit on my lap or airplane tray. Pair it with an Xbox controller and should be good. Just have to see if the trackpad is decent.

The only thing lacking is OLED and 16:10 aspect ratio.
Other than that, the screen is perfect in terms of color calibration and coverage, and brightness.

Solid deal!
I searched all over and I don't find anything comparable in specs and in a 14", light device. There are some bulky PCs out there that may have similar value, but heavy PCs are just not for me.

I have this laptop, using it since August, I have usually mainly for watching videos and writing papers for school. I wanted something I could game on if I wanted and I've tried Witcher 3 which tlran well. Track pad has occasionally been glitchy, like I get randomly placed on another line which is annoying. I have never accidentally hit the power button as I've seen others say. The weight is light, screen seems good, oh volume is not good, it seems quite (maybe normal for laptops) but does well enough for video conferencing. I've been happy with my purchase.

TG kryonaut and limit cpu to 15w, flash vbios to 40+5w... This thing is a beast and will run anything at 1080p.
