Sams club - log in, link your amex card and then go to the offers and one is HBO. I got an email saying that $15 would be available as Sams club cash.
if a new sub (like in the last week), contact chat support; ask to cancel/refund
if CSR is unable to do; ask for HBO Max Specialized Support; they should be able to cancel/refund
then sub with amex payment; $50 saved
fast refund - "Warner Media Direct, LLC issued a $104.99 USD refund"
