I've owned the Forerunner 735XT since early 2018. It's been a great watch but newer watches have better tech and more features. Looking for a deal on the FR255

I have a 235 which is fine but I find these tend to crap our within 3 years and the longer GPS life is a winner. In for 1.

This watch is too old, released along the line with the forerunner 35, 235, etc... Good watch but too old now to consider even at this price.

Honestly would take the 45 or 245 over this.

This or the Fitbit Versa 3 I bought 2 months ago from Costco.com for $117? I know 2 different watches but I'm not too happy with the 3 to 4 day battery life with the Versa 3.

I mainly use a smartwatch to receive messages, notification of incoming calls, and check heart rate.

This watch came out in 2016. Unless you're a triathlete you'll almost certainly be better off with any of the more recent Garmin watches. Shouldn't be difficult for find a Forerunner 45 or Instinct or whatever around this price.
