Ram cannot be upgraded as it's soldered on the motherboard. That's why it's called LpddrX. And no additional slots to add ram. So this laptop is a pass for me.

how does this compare to the Amazon deal posted earlier and on the front page at $700.

Seems like the Amazon has 16gb ram vs. the 8 with this deal. Also seems to have a better graphics card.

Prime deal on the HP x360 i5-1135G7 at $500 is pretty good (4 hours remaining):
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1
Indeed, the i7 for this generation isn't much better than the i5.

Edit: added more details on the deal and CPU

The 8GB soldered with no expansion slot kills it.

I just bought the I5 swift from WalMart for $399 with Free Shipping.. This isn't worth an extra $135 to me. Actually it is worth almost nothing more to me. Sorry Costco. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-S...hbdg=L1100
