Wow, that's odd. Usually all infant carriers can. This carseat does have a load leg so that's a major plus.

They've been similar priced on products but with significantly less authorized Nuna resellers from my experience in last 1-2 years.

I wouldn't recommend it if you want to take it traveling at all. Need the base so it makes it a lot more if a hassle. The weight savings isn't that big a deal. Also, the seat belt release button is super inconvenient. Nice dream drape though. Maybe if you want to move it between cars too.

Adding my old notes for you all. I went with the Lite RX and the weight difference didn't affect me at all. The baby will get very, very heavy and I ended up using it 9 months before getting a new seat.

Edit: Also the magnetic buckles saves a lot of time and hassle.

Had one for 11.5 months now (she's almost one!) and used daily. Great. Light. Washable removable cover. Base system is good, super safe. Overall it's very robust so buy now! Great deal. Top selling and rarely on sale.

Great seat! Only major downside is if you fly or taxi you can't use this variation without the heavy duty base.

Hold a Uppababy Mesa or similar ~10lb infanr seat followed by this one, then you notice it with baby and if your spouse isn't use to holding 25lbs+ in one hand they'll notice difference as baby gets big. Some might care for the light weight more than others.

Materials and esthetic are top notch. We bundle ours with a Uppababy Cruz V2 stroller using Nuna's ring adapter. Might do the Nuna Rava on sale when the time comes to upsize.

Adapters are available also to hook this infant seat into a Bugaboo strollers. I'm sure there are adapters available for other brands.

That's the one I want as well, but we ended up pulling the trigger on the Uppababy Mesa on a 50% deal that was posted here recently. We'll see if BF brings the Lite RX down on price.

It's a great seat. Not good for traveling though. I'm not sure if its really a deal, I bought Tavo and Pipa 2 years ago for $600 from Dillards. I guess prices really went up these days.

You can probably pick up a used one from Facebook marketplace for a fraction of a price. They are cheap because it's technically illegal to resell used infant car seats. That seat is very easy to clean and seat comes with production date on the bottom of it.

I have this and my 7 month old loves it! very lightweight and better than the Mesa IMHO because it comes with a dream drape with magnetic clasps. I paired this up with an Uppababy Cruz v2 via ring adapter and we have been getting compliments left and right. Someone even was asking how we got the dream drape because their Mesa didn't have one.
