Genius marketing. Take some bottom of the barrel products, slap a "Pro" onto the name and everyone will think it's good shit.

This reminds me of the old days (1998) when I used to work at a small local grocery store (IGA) with a deli in the back. About once a month they would run a $0.79 or $0.99 per pound sale on "chip chopped ham". It was a long square stick of the greasiest ham, and as you may have guessed, customers always wanted it razor thin and no less than 5 pounds. That week I was slicing (shaving) this stuff till my arm fell off.

Don't get me started on head cheese. I can still hear that distinctive sound of slicing through mystery animal parts suspended in gelatin.

Too many bad reviews on quality due to internal being made of plastic. I'll have to pass.

Garbage slicer, plastic gears that break after just a few uses of which by that time it is past return period. Plastic gears are not replaceable, not covered by warranty

This is junk that keeps getting reposted, usually by SD staff

Regardless of brand, these are all trash, save your money and avoid any home slicer.

Junk, I bought last deal, not worth it. Will not keep slicing depth, no lock and it moves as you slice. No easy way to clean it, I removed the blade to clean it and it had grease of some sort all over the blade, so I wasn't sure if I should clean it, if the grease is needed. It sliced cheese and ham okay, made quick work of it, but wasn't worth the cleanup.
