yeah, Toejam is a classic from the Genesis days. Not sure how this remake will compare (especially with nostalgia glasses), but for free, why not

Toejam and earl is excellent. Has a great soundtrack and is a lot of fun in single player or couch co-op mode.

I grew up on toejam and earl for Genesis. The new one scratches the nostalgia itch pretty well.

This remake brings back all of the classic feels and introduces some major QoL improvements. Definitely worth it, especially for free.

I originally crowdfunded TJ&Earl Back in the Groove. It's freaking worth it if nothing but the soundtrack. This is the game that the creators wanted to make after the first TJ&E but their publisher forced them to go side scrolling for the 2nd game.

I love when a game's soundtrack makes a difference in the positive. Halo is another one for me.
On the flip side, Limbo without one makes it a completely different feel.

It's an ok compared to the classic it has 2 new characters and old skool toejam and earl and new toejam and earl. But it's a great version of the game.
