Reading these comments are incredibly annoying and frustrating.

Why didn't you just sell your F350, get a Prius and burn your yard waste to charge it with that Sterling engine you have sitting over there? No, that Prius can totally move your 5th wheel RV.

Looks like they're price matching Amazon's AX2.

There is AX, CX, EX, GX so it seems confusing. I saw on pcpartpicker that they are all dramless but EX has the best features and the G is the worst, but since they are all around the same price mark and cheap, I don't think you could go wrong with picking any mix of letters.

The AX and CX are the same drives. AX is sold by Amazon and 3rd party sellers. There's also a M.2 drive that is Amazon's exclusive, but is the same specs as a model sold by everyone else.

The 1tb version is only $55, I'm not sure I've seen a tb going for so cheap?

I'm not sure that I would recommend this to someone given that you can get an NVME drive with the M.2 form factor for $40-50 these days, but I imagine there's some people out there putting together systems for as low a price as they can or people with really old systems that need to use SATA.

I would use something like this on a unused SATA port for Steam or Origin games. Something that could benefit from the increased speed but also something if the drive failed would not be a big deal to just download again.

Agreed not using this one as system drive. I plan to use this one as external drive with an enclosure. System drive will be an NVME drive. I just bought a Crucial 2TB SSD sata for data drive. Every SSD , with their prices and features, can find their places.

Use an HDD for a backup. Cost per TB is way lower and the random access performance isn't that important.

It's entry level.

My kid has DDR4 ram from Team Group....going on about 3 years now, no issues. RMAs are suppose to be a b&tch, but I've never had to go that route.

I could see using this in some older applications....but NOT if it has a lot of data-critical stuff on. So for the 7 year old that just wants to play some simple web-based games OR watch Barney on your computer from 2017....a perfect cheap upgrade for that.

If it's your home business computer, I'd pay to get something better (like Samsung). Not that much more and totally worth it.
