LOL....you must be less than 15 years old. My Army issue flashlight in 2001 was probably 50 lumens and I was expected to survive with that piece of equipment. Only in recent years do people exact a keychain flashlight to signal Batman on a single AAA battery.

Look at it this way: It's $4, size of a lipstick thingy, the battery lasts 20 hours, and is meant to light up a small area not spot German bombers....
You must be less than 20 years old since you haven't seen that movie 🙄

Had to google that but I did watch about 20 minutes of Zoolander. Felt my brain starting to atrophy so stopped watching before any permanent harm was done.

I can't tell what's more dull, the lumen output or the fact that $0.98 savings is on the popular page.

Popular just means a lot of people looked at the deal. Dudes love flashlights.

130 lumens? What is this, a light for ANTS?!
For when you need a light... but not really.

anyone actually used this thing? Just trying to get a feel for how much light it puts out compared to say just pulling out my phone and turning on the flashlight.
great idea there sherlock -- use your $800-1500 comms device with a short range high-cri LED meant for a flashbulb.....in a rugged work environment. let me know how THAT one works out for ya. such a smrt cookie.

130 lumens. That's quite a joke. Though the price is respectful of the disappointing output.

But hey, to each their own. Some people are completely fine with a dim light -- matches their intellect. Some people know they're perpetually in the dark -- and will do anything to remain that way.

You want a nice flashlight? Check out the Wurkkos FC11. It's a $22-30 (depending on sales) flashlight running on a single 18650 (included), has a USB-C charging port, magnetic tailcap, and ~1300 lumen max output. Your choice of LED color temperatures AND body colors too.

It's a little bit more than the $4.12 plasTIK landfill light from scAmazon, but at least you're not wasting your money with the Wurkkos.

For its intended use it's probably bright enough. Think more along the lines of working in confined spaces (under a car, under a sink, electrical panels, etc). Obviously a bit weak for camping and outdoors though.

Let me correct you, "You did not need a flashlight to see hundreds of Allied Bombers mercilessly bombed German citizens night after night".

I mean it works fine in a pinch, and has for years.

We need lep flashlights this size with 1000000 candela for walking our dog in the park

LEP flashlight uses a laser as its light source. LEP stands for Laser Excited Phosphor and these types of flashlights are extremely bright in the center of the beam, and without any real spill.

It appears that Amazon still doesn't pay the interns enough to proof-read or edit the poorly translated sell sheets for OEM rebranded goods.

I'd definitely opt to spend about twice this on the rechargable energizer flashlight 2 pack. Put out about 500 lumens, as well as a lower light mode and a strobe mode. With the price at the last sale it put then within a buck or two of this 130 lumen light.
I agree. The AA batteries in this will be dead and leaking when you need it, and this $4 flashlight does not seem rugged enough for my toolbox.
