Any thoughts on how it compares to the 35WN65C at Costco for $350? The Costco seems to have slower refresh at 100hz, but an inch more real estate, adjustable stand , speakers and usb 3.0.

Costco return policy is great on monitors, how is Amazon on dealing with monitor returns?
Can't help with comparison, but can tell you I have the Costco one you mentioned and really like it. Use it as my main display for work.

VA = better black levels (contrast ratio), cheaper
IPS = better color accuracy and response times

VA can be ideal for things like movies or darker backgrounds while IPS is generally better for all around and gaming due to faster response times. TN panels actually have the best response times for LCDs and why lots of high end gaming monitors are still TN. OLED gets you the best of all worlds at the expense of price and possible burn in.

Seems like a great screen. Reviews look good. 160mhz is nice. Is it curved too much or too little? Maybe compare curvature with similar other sized screens.

LG 34WQ73A-B 34" Curved UltraWide™ QHD IPS HDR10 Built-in KVM Monitor with USB Type-C™ https://a.co/d/gCPyZOa

What do you guys think about this? I'm not an expert and wondering if I can get some inputs.

I wanted USB-C charging and mostly I will use it for programming.

Seems like a decent deal, I wouldn't worry about IPS vs VA, most of these guys wouldn't be able to really tell the difference.

I was able to tell. I replaced an ultrawide LG IPS with the Costco LG VA and returned the new one the next day. Night and day. The Costco one was so washed out compared to IPS

If this is your only monitor, it's probably fine. But I have another LG IPS as my 2nd and they looked terrible next to each other.

I do web dev using a MacBook pro.

Get the USB c to declutter your desk and only have a single cable. It'd be annoying to deal with dongles and HDMI cables.

The fact that the monitor doubles as a charger is why it's more expensive.

Does this support split screen where Windows sees it as multiple monitors? I have a dual monitor setup now and it would be nice to replace it with a single monitor.
