If userbench is correct, these may be the fastest "gaming" hard drives because the 4k speeds. Much faster than any wd or Seagate I've seen but reply if I'm wrong

FYI - userbenchmark is considered a joke amongst PC enthusiasts and in the hardware industry (my former line of work). They're well known for having heavy biases towards certain brands, and you can find plenty of interesting discussion on this across reddit.

Out of curiosity though, where are you seeing this HDD ranked #1? I took a look just to see what their algorithm had in the top 10, but I only see a rather outdated list of HDDs that seem to suggest HDDs from 4-8 years ago are in the top 10.

I've had toshiba drives in the past and I bought them out of my hatred for seagate drives that keep failing on me. It did the same pretty much. I wonder if ssds can reach these capacities eventually at an affordable rate, because mechanical disk drives are just born to fail. And these companies are just made to profit out of their failures, they just can't have them fail too much, in this case I recommend WD drives, but it will fail after 3-4 years. That's just money and data down the drain. I would rather get some cloud subscription but then would I trust them with my data? Time to just get rid of technology and become a Quaker. Inb4 the downvotes come raining down on this Saturday morning.
