It would be great if there was deal where you could trade in two phones in one order That would be awesome. If that happened, the values would obviously be less per phone, but as long as it adds up well, many would take advantage because my pixel 2xl is just sitting around. I would like to get at least $100 for it in a trade-in and also have a 3a.

That's how Best buy deal works out:

My initial charge - $640.93 (with tax) - Pixel 7 128GB
Trade in refund - $420.00 (IPhone XR)
Tax refund - $25.00

I'm thinking of getting the regular Pixel 7, kind of feeling a downsize. Google is gonna give me $950 for my 13 Pro Max 256gb. Seems (like most trade in deals) that it's a crap shoot that everything goes smoothly. So that's got me a bit apprehensive. Also, how does Google handle the difference since my phone is worth more, does it just get credited back to the payment method used?

I can't take advantage of the Best Buy deal, since my phone is worth more than the regular Pixel 7. And even with the BB GC, it would be less than what Google is offering. Though going in store and getting it over with may just make it a better deal.

What's the reason that the Verizon deal is getting no love? For people with older phones $700 trade-in credit is quite tempting... Understood it is applied over 3 years which kind of sucks. But presumably if you're upgrading from like a Pixel 4 or older you clearly aren't too concerned about upgrading every year, which is the main downside with being locked into a 3 year payment plan.

It does say you need to be on an unlimited plan, but I was able to do it without changing my grandfathered plan. YMMV

Trade in value for pixel 6 pro is a joke. It's even less than regular pixel 6. (128 gb only)
I also contacted Google to see if that's an error or not and this is what they told me:

"It depends on the market value of the device, whatever it's showing on the Google store it will be the same."


It's so disappointing especially for US customers. In UK they give away pixel watch for free when you buy pixel 7. But here, we have to just pay more money.
I just wait for bf or skip pixel 7.

I purchased my iPhone from Total Wireless and it's still locked to them since I didn't activate and unlock the phone. Do I select as Verizon when I do the Best Buy deal?
