Since this is asked so much:
Pixel 6a is not available for trade in because it's new and Google still sells them.

I have the Pixel 6 Pro still receiving trade in credits from Verizon for another year but I had an iPhone 12 Pro Max available for trade in. Best Buy had such a great deal I couldn't pass it up. I will likely never do trade ins for credits through the carrier again if I can find deals like this.
My deal through Best Buy for the Pixel 7 Pro:
$899.00 (full price)
+ $8.18 (tax)
- $490.00 (trade-in for iPhone 12 Pro Max)
- $300.00 (Additional trade-in promotion)
- $200.00 (Best Buy Gift Card)
I essentially walked away with the phone full paid for and an additional $82.82 in my pocket
The stars really aligned with the 7, being so close to the 6a launch
Is it really that hard to understand that people could just not be happy with something, no matter how much you may personally like it? You've probably accepted people preferring iPhone or Android to one another, but somehow can't accept someone preferring a Pixel over an S22U?

No strings attached, free upgrade for any carrier as long as you have a qualifying Samsung device.
Tossing in my S22 for the Pixel 7. Here we go!

Honestly, I wouldnt trade your phone in; main reason is that your phone is worth quite a bit of REAL $ on the secondhand market right now, while the Google Store is best for, for no other way of putting it, *laundering* additional credit out of relatively worthless phones towards relatively decent phones.
Its $600 for the new 128GB S22U at Fi store after jumping throug hoops", $700+ for the 512 version on ebay in unknown condition)
I know time is indeed $, but youre probably better off trading in something with a high value/cost ratio, like the $100 iPhone XR ->$415 credit, and then selling your phone (in good condition?) on secondhand market. That phone is getting you a 3/1 return ($300 out for $100 in), but your phone is barely a 1.25/1 return ($950 for $700+ in...maybe even worse considering what you paid yourself for it)
I got my Pixel 6 for $299 from T-Mobile with 24 months of EIP bill credits. I have 13 bill credits of $12.70 or so left on it. I called to see if I can just pay the balance to free up the phone to trade it for one of these deals. Unfortunately, I would lose the credits and owe the full balance, nullifying the benefits of these deals.
If anyone knows of a way to do this without having to pay the balance off at the full rate of $25 per month x 13, I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks!

I commented above and previously about why, and there were people expressing they felt the same about theirs. I've also had a Pixel 1, Pixel 2, and Pixel 4a. Wife had a 3a, 4a, and currently has the 6a. I know how the cameras are on these phones (my main complaint about the S22) and, unless you think the camera on the 7/7 Pro is an utterly different experience than that then that is enough of a reason for me.
