Maybe but I'm sure they'll give you more for the Pixel 7 than they would the 3. Best Buy typically has decent trade-in deals. Keep Pixel until Black Friday and I'm sure they'll have a good iPhone trade-in offer.

I'm coming from an XR and had the pixel 1 & 2. Thanks your giving me the confidence to try out the 7. I hate how locked in I'm in with -my car is only CarPlay, I have a Apple Watch 6, AirPods, and all my friends use iMessage.

The modem problems with the first Tensor chip are bad. Still has a Samsung modem in the P7. If this was your reason for upgrading I think you're in for more disappointment. The problem isn't that the modem was too power hungry- the problem is it that it isn't any good. I'd guess that Samsung is at least 4 generations behind Qualcomm in this area. Even Samsung won't use their own modems in their own phones, which speaks volumes to me.

I agree that I wish it was something more. I just find myself in a situation right now where it's often unusable and if it's a marginal improvement (or maybe the modem in mine is just particularly bad) I'm willing to take that risk.

I can only answer for T-Mobile but they do. Their current $800 off for Pixel 7 promo for Max members will let me trade in a Pixel 5 for the full $800, even a LG V60 would still get the full $800.

Last year I got a "free" Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro by trading in an LG G8 & V60.

Pixels & Galaxy's have good trade-in rates.

Rare exception if you have a Pixel 3 -- the trade in value is the same as last week, so minus the GC, it's worse.

My iPhone 13 Pro Max 256gb Google trade in is showing 950 to trade for the 7 pro 256. I think trade in value matters on which phone you get.

I ordered 7 pro 256 and shows value of my iPhone 13 Pro Max 256 as 950. I think it depends on what model you get as OP says up to 900 but mines 950. Took a screen shot if they try to bamboozle me
