Correct, there are no gift cards with this deal. Money will be refunded back as credit on the same credit card used to purchase after phone is received and verified.

I just skimmed through the previous deal with the gift cards to check and it looks like that's exactly the case. Someone just mentioned that at least one of the trade in phone options is now gone but otherwise I'd say this is a better deal since there's no gift card. Others will have to chime in as to whether or not the total elevated trade in value this time around is the same as the previous TIV + gift card amount but I'm interested in trading in my S22 Ultra and it's $900 value right now (for the lowest, 128gb storage option) whereas someone in the previous thread said they were getting $700 for their 256gb model - so in that case the TIV value here is already higher.

I had the Best Buy trade in all set and literally just got an email confirming that my phone is ready but that was going to be $246 out of pocket and a $200 gift card. Even then if I wasn't happy with the P7 I'd be paying a restocking fee. So I think I'm all in for this, instead.

How is your S22U only $850 for a 256g model? I put in 128gb and it's $900. I put in 256gb just now and it's $925. I would re-check that.

And yeah, this is much better than gift cards back. I'd be upset if I had done the previous deal because I'd just have to order again with this deal.

edit: Don't forget to combine with the Google One subscription discount. $10/mth for 2 months would get you about $90 back in store credit on the $900 7 Pro.

Basically iphones have been boosted to BB rates, but no gift card so you're still coming out short compared to BB

Ended up pulling the trigger, have a S22 Ultra 128gb to trade in, got a 7 pro 256gb, also will receive almost $100 back in credit since I have Google One and 4% CB.
