The real win here is if there is any retailer that would blindly price match not realizing the shipping/freight charge. Great deal but as others have mentioned, shipping this across the country, I'm not confident it will get to me in one piece LOL

Mind if I ask what the best buy item number was you used to price match and which zip? Thanks!

Curiosity question: I always hear about OLEDs not being optimal for bright rooms; is this for critical watching [like HoD at night to make sure we don't miss anything in the over dark scenes]?

I have to admit playing XSX on my LG CX is still a great experience in the daytime with the window shades wide open (and that's behind my head). I don't change any settings. Did I get lucky with a brighter than usual screen? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Oled for bedroom/evening. Sony for livingroom/daytime.

Oleds relatively low brightness isnt the best for bright day time tv. Jmo

What about the Samsung OLED for day and night? Those are brighter than the LG.

No you didn't get lucky. The brightness is more than adequate on OLED. It's just a marketing point against them. You don't typically need blinding levels of brightness of lcd.

Debating if I should cancel my Amazon Sony A80J 77 for $1999 and get this one instead. But it's $1653 for me plus shipping so seems better to get the A80J for $350 more.

This is the truth. I have a 65G2 OLED in my office, directly across from a wall of windows (6x12ft). It is plenty bright at all times of day, even with overhead lights turned on. I also have a 75QN90B in the living room, directly across from a wall of windows (6x18ft) and that tv is so bright--even in daytime--that it can give you a headache. I even have it in 'filmmaker mode,' so it isn't putting out as much brightness as it might in other modes. The QN90B is incredible, but I think the picture quality on the 65G2 is slightly better. Love them both to death.

I don't know if maybe some folks have wide open rooms with direct sunlight, but I have plantation style blinds and a porch and in my daylit house the C1 is super bright and easy to see. I was super worried bc I would see posts about OLED being dim.

The whites are so bright at night in Vivid Mode, it hurt my eyes.

I know the A1 is not quite as bright, but sometimes I think people online just have super sensitivity to issues that I wouldn't have even considered if I hadn't read about it in a forum if that makes sense.

Try to go see an A1 at a bright store and see what you think.

I didn't read page two of the comments before posting something similar. I have no issues with a C1 in a bright room during the day. I thought it was going to be the worst after obsessing over posts on forums.

I need a bright panel. Is this better than the Samsung 85" QN90A?

Have a Sony A90J OLED with two windows behind and three to the side. Not happy with the brightness and glare. The picture is not bright enough. It's so subjective but then again most of my viewing is usually at night for the past 5 years, maybe I'm used to that environment

No doubt Oled does a fantastic job fighting glare compared to an LED tv of the same nits of brightness. But in a bright living room viewing, a top of the line led or the samsung oled is, I think, better. The perfect black isn't nearly as important vs nighttime viewing to me. Top of the line LED's have great contrast anyway, and the significant brightness increase really helps the picture pop in a bright room more than an Oled

Whats the moral of the story? Buy a samsung Oled lol

No way BB price matched that as they are not even the same model #. Better post the receipt.
