For the health of the batteries, you want a charger with individual charging channels, i.e. one that can charge one battery at a time. These cheap Energizer and Duracell chargers only do 2 or 4 at a time (which means one will always be overcharged or undercharged).

There's an Eneloop charger with 4x Eneloop AAs for $18 (worth the $3 extra just for the Eneloop batteries instead of Energizers):

Or this Tenergy charger with a basic charge level display for $20:

I bought these in March for $15, not on sale. I think this is normal price, & they just added an MSRP to make it look like you're getting a deal.

Costco is selling 16 AA 2300 mAH batteries for $19.99. Much better deal but if you already have a NiMH battery charger

I second that. Costco deal is the best I've seen in a long while.

Those batteries are 1000mAh, the Energizer are 2000mAh and should last 2x longer.

If you read down in the description, it says it charges 1300mah to 2500mah (included), making it seem as these are 2500mah.

"Duracell Ion Speed 1000 Battery Charger for AA and AAA batteries recharges your batteries in 4 to 8 hours with 4000 mW of charging power, based on charging AA batteries to approximately 90% of full charge, when using Duracell 1300 mAh or up to 2500mAh (included) 2xAA NiMH Batteries. "
