$275 for the Fenix 6 is a good price, but it was $250 back in July.

What are people buying in this sale? I'm finding lots of outdoor gear that still seems overpriced at half off.

Sometimes, name brands have high prices simply because of the name.

Other times, the higher prices are completely justified by the quality and features of the products.

A lot of the best stuff IMO is stuff that doesn't usually go on sale - so if you're into camping/outdoors there are some pretty good deals. I got some barebones enamel bowls that match with plates I previously got, iodine, Nikwax combo I buy/use 1x per year for outerwear, a multitool... etc. Good prices on a lot of outerwear too but I convinced myself not to get any of it. Black Diamond jackets, Danner boots, Cotopaxi mentioned above etc... Talked myself out of Snow Peak stuff...
