I was about to say this same thing, but this is still on sale. The quiet time I get from the kids playing with these is worth every penny that they cost and not having to step on freaking LEGOS is amazing!!!

I've gotten two of these sets for my 2 year old and he absolutely loves them. Honestly, I love em too -- when we're not playing together, I know they'll keep him busy so I can do some adulting.

These are definitely a fun toy for kids but like others have said, browse your options. There are so many different sellers of these magnet tiles on Amazon that you are bound to find this price, or very close to it, daily (if not better). Most of them are identical and sold under different 'brands'. If you are overwhelmed with options from a generic search, try searching Amazon and then filtering by the "Today's Deals" option. Then scroll for options that also contain clickable coupons and it is pretty easy to get great prices most any time.

The good news is, for a product like this, build quality is probably pretty consistent across most of what you will find since a lot of them are coming from the same factories. Simple. Classic. Fun.

This is one of the few toys that I tend to gravitate to when my daughters want me to play. I'll take this option over the Ken doll 10/10 times.

I can't comment on differences between the brands/sets but Sam's club carry several 60 piece sets at $20, a glow in the dark 60p set slightly more, and 100p set at $30
