I should add that I haven't received any indication of the credit yet. Did anyone else? I thought amex would send an immediate email saying I qualified, like they do with other offers.

How it works:

4. Your friends will receive a Venmo or PayPal request, just like any other Venmo or PayPal request
5. When your friends accept the request, we'll apply a statement credit directly to your Card for the amount they paid you back
6. Once you get paid back at least $15 total to your Card, we'll apply an additional $5 bonus credit to your enrolled Card

got the amex offer but this one is going to be difficult to figure out until you dig into it. im guessing you cannot cross over meaning you cant use split one charge between your own paypal acct and venmo acct. instead, if you use your paypal acct, you'll have to know someone else with a paypal acct.

Will this impact any previous credit from another offer? Say I had the credit from earlier 10% back from paying the cable bill. If I split that bill using this, will my 10% credit be revoked / reduced by the $15 split?

(vi) your split request does not result in a credit back to<br />your Card including, without limitation, because your Venmo or PayPal account had a negative balance; (vii) your split request is not applied to your Card or rejected for including, without limitation, suspicion of fraud, money laundering, illegality or other reason; (viii) you request from your own Venmo or PayPal account. You are limited to one $5 bonus statement credit per split up to 3x. For example, if you split a transaction with more than one person, you will only be eligible to get the $5 bonus statement credit once. Offers are dynamic and personalized and only available for limited periods of time. If you navigate away from the Offers page, you may see different offers when you return. This Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 3 (total of $15) statements credits issued by American Express per Card Member. In order to be eligible to enroll in this Offer and to receive statement credit, the enrolled Card account must not be cancelled, past due. Any statement credit earned from this Offer is in addition to any other rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) that you may earn as part of your existing Card benefits. Statement credits will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 1/17/2023. By adding this Offer to a Card, you agree that we may send you communications about the Offer through any means that you have agreed to us sending you information.
